Between 2008 and 2011,
Tim ran the Exchange. This involved interviewing people about their
routines (commuting,
grocery shopping, laundry, what you usually
have for breakfast, etc.)
(note: this step could be done
in person, or over the phone. It was also presented as a show at the
Meme Gallery in June 2010.) |

Tim then made a number of presents based on what people told him.
These took the form of books, sculptures, images, plays...

He
then gave them to the people he interviewed--either by mailing them,
or arranging to meet them at
one of their routine
locations (on a subway platform, at your grocery store,
etc.) | |
